Today we wanted to shine the spotlight across the pond onto 5 American interior designers that constantly inspire us with their interior design talents.

Hereโ€™s hoping you not only find inspiration for your home, but these female entrepreneurs motivate you if youโ€™re looking to start your own interior design business one day.

To find out more about the HomeEnvy surprise, it’s at the bottom!

Lindsey Brooke Design

As a former artist, Lindsey Brooke certain has an eye for design that works. Known for her love of earth textures and bold prints, Brooke manages to marry contemporary design with vintage finds effortlessly. A signature style for Californian interiors across the board, expect to find light, bright and airy spaces with natural woods, Shaker style kitchens, pendant lighting and linear artwork gracing the walls. Visit the Lindsey Brook Design website here.

Emily Henderson

Emily Henderson has become one of the biggest names in American interior design with her passion for eclectic, mid-century modern design. Developing her interior design business into a brand of its own, with a daily blog, huge social following, books, TV segments and so much more, Henderson has a style that is instantly recognisable โ€“ a telling sign that youโ€™re doing something right in creating a memorable brand. Check out Style by Emily Henderson right here.

Studio Mcgee

One of our favourite design duos, Studio McGee has grown incredibly over the last five years. Established by husband and wife team Syd and Shea McGee, the team now work with a list of premium clients, all clambering to get a taste of their modern farmhouse style of interior design. With a team of 30, as well as a bricks and mortar store selling their own products, weโ€™re excited to see what the next year holds for Studio McGee. You can visit the website here.

Lark & Linen

Former editor of Style Me Pretty Living, Jacquelyn Clark has over a decade of knowledge and experience within the design industry. An American interior designer with a feminine flair running throughout her designs, the designerโ€™s philosophy reads; a well-designed space should not only feel dream-like, but be liveable, useable and totally โ€“ completely โ€“ you. And itโ€™s clear to see from her extensive portfolio, sheโ€™s managed to achieve just that. Visit the Lark & Linen website right here.

Sarah Sherman Samuel

LA-based interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel is renowned for her contemporary mid-century modern homes, most notable being Mandy Mooreโ€™s home renovation which took the internet by storm. If youโ€™re scrolling through Pinterest, itโ€™s highly likely youโ€™ll have come across Samuelโ€™s work, and most recently the designer has moved into product design, collaborating with Ikea no less on a collection of kitchen cabinets. Check out Sarah Sherman Samuelโ€™s website here.
