7 Minimalist Instagram Feeds We Draw Design Inspiration From
If you took a look inside our saved folder on Instagram, you’d see everything from eclectic hotel designs through to 70’s inspired Californian bungalows. Something you’d see time and time again, however, are Scandinavian spaces that make minimal design look anything less than boring.
After our post on decluttering for the new season, it’s fair to say we’re going through a ‘less is more’ phase here at HomeEnvy HQ, which is probably why we’re drawn to these Instagram accounts, again and again.
From clean lines to muted colour palettes, here are some of the minimalist interior feeds we return to time and time again when we’re scrolling through Instagram.
Mamoesjka_nl
With no website link, and nothing other than her first name, Ilona is an enigma on Instagram.
All we do know is this feed is an incredible mix of interior styling, pops of pink and Ilona’s gorgeous ragdoll kitten, Keesje.
What we love about this home is the clever use of storage, from wall shelving that marries form and function to hollow bench seating in the dining space.

These Four Walls
Founded by interiors blogger, Abi Dare, These Four Walls is a slice of Scandinavian right here in the UK.
We adore Abi’s home and it’s one we’ve spotted time and time again over on Pinterest when we’ve been searching for living room inspiration.
But not only will this content creator show us around her own home, we’re also lucky enough to experience other house tours, her travels, and understanding the realities of running a successful business in this UK today.

Sarah_cocolapine
Sarah Van Peteghem aka Cocolapine, is a Munchen based designer and interiors blogger with a house to die for.
Primarily a palette of taupes, white, greys and blacks, the odd injection of rich inky blue is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, and while furniture features clean, straight lines, Sarah’s use of natural wood throughout warms the space up perfectly.

My Scandinavian Home
Is it possible to crown Niki Brantmark the Queen of Scandinavian design on Instagram?
With close to a quarter of a million followers, it’s fair to say her stunning sense of interior style has been noticed – with Vogue, in fact, naming her one of the top 10 interior accounts to follow.
Although it’s slightly more maximalist than other accounts, we couldn’t not include this beauty of a feed.

Elisabeth_heier
Interior designer and visual story teller, Elisabeth Heier first captured our hearts when we discovered her Friday Finds, where she shares new projects, new launches and new developments from across the industry.
It is, however, her ability to capture the most beautiful light and shadow placement throughout her home, that won us over.
This really is a home that proves sometimes less is more.
